AMUSEMENT RIDES MANUFACTURERS

The ride is made up of one arm with a counterweight on one end, and a 9m (30’) round plate on the other end, made of a steel structure covered with chequered aluminium, which rotates both clockwise and counter-clockwise. 

The arm is fixed in an inclined position on the structure through a swinging bearing, and its rotation makes the plate tilt during its own rotation. Five 4-seater satellites are installed on the plate, and rotate freely. These rotations are sudden and unpredictable as they depend on a number of variables such as arm and plate speed and accelerations, position and inclination of the plate in relation with arm and centre as well as passengers’ weights. 

Both the direction and the rotation speed of plate and satellites can be either modified or inverted at any time. The plate can only rotate in the opposite direction of the arm, whereas the satellites can rotate freely in any direction.

Movements:

• 360° rotation of the arm (clockwise/counter-clockwise). From 0 to 11 rpm max.
• 360° rotation of the plate (clockwise/counter-clockwise). From 0 to 23 rpm max.
• 360° rotation of the satellites (clockwise/counter-clockwise). Free spinning.
